Sesame crusted tuna & wasabi mayonnaise

1

I could eat raw fish everyday! It's so fresh, healthy and there are so many recipes to try out that I just can't get enough of it!
Here is my sesame crusted tuna & wasabi mayonnaise recipe:

RECIPE
1 Tuna steak
Freshly grated ginger
Soy sauce
Wasabi
Sesame seeds
Mayonnaise
Onion sprouts

1- Rinse the tuna under cold water and pat dry with a kitchen towel

2- In a bowl combine the soy sauce, wasabi & grated ginger (all measurements to taste) and leave the tuna to marinate in the mixture for approx. 30mins (image 4 & 5)

3-When ready brush some extra wasabi on the tuna for an extra kick

4- Coat the tuna with mixed sesame seeds (image 6 & 7)

5- Cook for about 1 minute in a hot pan with a little canola oil or sunflower oil

6- For the Wasabi mayonnaise simply mix both ingredients together (image 8)

Brush your plate with the wasabi mayonnaise (image 9) and place the sliced tuna on top, garnish with some onion sprouts.

Enjoy!!

Matcha green tea and strawberry popsicles

I like to call it ice indulgence... those little treats that just seem to make everything better during the hot summer days. When we went to L.A back in April we stopped through Tokyo and of course I couldn't help myself from buying the real Matcha green tea powder, let me tell you it is one of the best I have ever tasted and yes.. I am a little obsessed with Matcha! (see previous recipe here)

Here is my popsicle recipe:

Recipe:

Matcha green tea powder
Strawberries
Icing sugar

-Mix the matcha powder in water and pour the mixture at the bottom of the ice lolly moulds or in glasses (do not fill the moulds as you will need space to add the strawberry mixture). Freeze

-In the meantime puree the strawberries and add icing sugar (to taste)

-Once the green tea has frozen, add the strawberry mixture on top of it, freeze & enjoy!!
