Here is the second part of my Christmas baking week : Gingerbread men!
What would the Christmas holiday be without the smell of delicious wintery spices of cakes and mulled wine in the house?! As I looked for the perfect recipe I realized that most recipes use molasses which I am not too fond of, therefore I use Lyle's golden syrup (previously used in this recipe).
Gingerbread men are also a delicious treat to bring to the office and they can also make a fun decoration for your Christmas tree!
*Spices used for the gingerbread men: ground ginger, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon*
*Make holes before cooking them if you wish to hang them on your Christmas tree*
*A perfect treat to bring to the office (labels designed by me and can also be found here)*
These look delightful & the piece de resistence is the cute reindeer, but where's his red nose!!!!ReplyDelete
I just love these cookies! I want the recipe (:ReplyDelete
Thanks for your lovely comment! I now know that the last picture was taken in Greenwich, I added it. So, thanks for that too. (:
I forgot to add some pictures of the view from the London Eye so I edited that now.
I enjoyed not just the Gingerbread itself but the pics too!!!!ReplyDelete

Following from my interactive blogging
I for some reason have the perception that gingerbread men are really difficult to make... Is this true or was it because I was probably 10 years old and nobody wanted to go through the pain to make them with me?? Haha... Your's look so great!ReplyDelete
