The new way to wear your coat

1

The in-between seasons can be a little tricky when it comes to "what should I wear today". You might see the sun shine when you wake up and suddenly the afternoon tornado and winter temperatures blow in... it's too hot to wear your coat but too cool to not wear it, the solution is to wear it over your shoulders!
Whether it is your blazer, your leather jacket or your cashmere coat this really is the fashionable way to wear it:

How do you wear your coat in between seasons?

  1. So chic! Down here you don't need a coat but when ever I go visit NY I always bring one! (It's always cold tho I rarely go while its in the inbetween stage.)

  2. it really looks cool, but I can wear my coat the "normal" way, even these days, cause I usually get cold very fast! So it´s better for me to sweat a little than to really get ill! ♥♥♥ S

  17. draping your coat over the shoulders has definitely been around for ages, but, nice to see it done in an elegant way and with some fresh trends.

  19. Lovely examples... I personally love the first picture and the Blonde Salad :)

As about coats, during this transition season, early in september I prefer cardigans and my biker jacket, some blazer-t-shirt outfits too... In october, I wear leather jackets a lot, my Burberry navy trench (I could not decide for a classic), some utilitarian jacket as well...

  20. I actually wear it too like this sometimes when it's too warm for a coat, but too cold to go sleeveless!
