We are moving house and are in the middle of boxes and dust!!
I really can't wait to be done as I had forgotten how exhausting moving was... As I take (a very much deserved) break from it all, I decided to do my checklist of things to do when entering a new apartment.
I am quite superstitious and have always done some rituals in a new home, (yes I do feel a little like Phoebe Buffay from friends;))
Here are a few:

Do not bring broken items from your previous home

Place salt in each room of your house to absorb any negative energy

De- clutter all unnecessary items from your old house and keep it minimal

Place Hematite crystals in your house for grounding the energy and protecting your new home

Sprinkle rice by your entrance door and sweep it outside asking the bad energy to leave with it
