Farewell summer of 2011

*View of Mykonos from the plane*

The end to a wonderful summer has come  and in this post I have grouped up some pictures from our time in Mykonos.
In my previous post I have shown you the picturesque views of the island whereas this one will make you discover another side of it showing you the most delicious greek foods and other less common things than the usual holiday pictures taken in Mykonos :)

*Octopus - a very common ingredient in Greek dishes*

*Cappuccino freddo- a daily must :)*

*Piccolo makes the best sandwiches and coffee on the island*

*A selection of mezze*

*A beautiful horse wondering on an almost deserted beach*

*This picture was taken at Fokos taverna which to my opinion has some of the best traditional greek dishes; The owner's dog Niki was so adorable and playful*

*Kalo Livadi- a hot spot on the island for its beautiful beach and delicious restaurant Sol y Mar *

*Enjoying some amazing beef at Sol y Mar, cooked directly on a hot stone by us*

*The iconic Myconian windmills*

*Having a drink at Galleraki*

*Yet another sunset :)*
