Organizing accessories

Ok I admit it... when it comes to jewelry organization I definitely have some improvement to do, so as we moved into a new home I thought it was time to get my accessories organized. Here are some inspirations:

Irish coffee and Lucky Charms ice cream

I don't know a lot of non Anglo-Saxon people who celebrate St. Patrick's day, but having gone to a British school since kindergarden and having lived in London for 7 years let's say that I kind of picked up the habit of celebrating this day! 

With my days getting busier, i thought of making a very simple & quick St. Patrick's day recipe : Irish Coffee and Lucky Charms ice cream.

RECIPE

For the Irish coffee:

-1 cup of coffee (I use Nespresso)

-Whipping cream

-A dash of Whiskey 

-Brown sugar (to taste)

For the Lucky Charms Ice cream:

- 1 scoop of vanilla bean ice cream

- Lucky Charms marshmallows (separated from the cereal)

Moving house rituals

We are moving house and are in the middle of boxes and dust!!

I really can't wait to be done as I had forgotten how exhausting moving was... As I take (a very much deserved) break from it all, I decided to do my checklist of things to do when entering a new apartment.

I am quite superstitious and have always done some rituals in a new home, (yes I do feel a little like Phoebe Buffay from friends;)) 

Here are a few:

Make your own sage smudge stick and burn it throughout the house to clear negative energy

Do not bring broken items from your previous home

Place salt in each room of your house to absorb any negative energy

De- clutter all unnecessary items from your old house and keep it minimal

Water is an important Feng Shui element for your house

Place Hematite crystals in your house for grounding the energy and protecting your new home

Sprinkle rice by your entrance door and sweep it outside asking the bad energy to leave with it

Coup de coeur: Ear cuffs

From catwalks to street styles, the ear cuff trend is the highlight of the season!

Love it or hate it, I have to say that it took me a while but the more I look at them the more i think they look pretty cool and you are sure to make a fashion statement with them!
