1 week to go until we fly to LA for the holidays and I couldn't be more excited!

It's finally time to leave the summer clothes and sticky weather behind and think of wrapping up in some cozy knits.

Before I leave, I'm on the look for a cape coat and the more I search the net for the perfect one, the more I come across the " Cape vs. Blanket' trend, so as I make up my mind for the perfect LA weather cape or blanket coat, here are a few street style inspirations as well as my high street selection:

DIY glitter Christmas tree place cards

A quick and easy DIY to sparkle up your Christmas table:

-With a cutter, make a small incision on the top of the cone (this is where you will slide the name card) 

- Paint your cone shapes and sprinkle a generous amount of glitter while the paint is still wet, alternatively you may use liquid glue.

- Cut name cards in a rectangular shape and punch through the 4 corners of the cards with a decorative paper punch

- Slide the name card on top of the cone and enjoy your celebrations!

So this is what I've been keeping under wraps for the past 6 months :):):)

 A little bundle of joy will be joining our family at the end of March and hubby and I could not be more excited!

It is one of the reasons why there has been a lack of posts on the blog since July, together with a lot of traveling back and forth to Europe and simply because I've been in full baby mode and just not paying too much attention to blogosphere...

However December being one of my favorite months ( especially for baking) I thought it was time to dedicate some more time to posts as well as sharing this news!
