Here is the second part of my Christmas baking week : Gingerbread men!
What would the Christmas holiday be without the smell of delicious wintery spices of cakes and mulled wine in the house?! As I looked for the perfect recipe I realized that most recipes use molasses which I am not too fond of, therefore I use Lyle's golden syrup (previously used in this recipe).
Gingerbread men are also a delicious treat to bring to the office and they can also make a fun decoration for your Christmas tree!
*Spices used for the gingerbread men: ground ginger, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon*
*Make holes before cooking them if you wish to hang them on your Christmas tree*
*A perfect treat to bring to the office (labels designed by me and can also be found here)*
I just love these cookies! I want the recipe (:
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment! I now know that the last picture was taken in Greenwich, I added it. So, thanks for that too. (:
I forgot to add some pictures of the view from the London Eye so I edited that now.

ReplyDeleteOmg how cute! Love your little gingerbread men, and the labels are amazing! Apparently they're the best cookie you can eat, the ginger has calming effects on the digestive system. Any excuse to eat cookies right haha.

I for some reason have the perception that gingerbread men are really difficult to make... Is this true or was it because I was probably 10 years old and nobody wanted to go through the pain to make them with me?? Haha... Your's look so great!
