Backpacks are back!

The last time I wore a backpack was back in high school, of course in those days it was a must to wear the strap on one shoulder only and also to have an Eastpak in the latest color... but those were the 90s! Nowadays I see the girls in my younger brother's class which would never dare to be seen wearing a canvas backpack, today's high school girls pack their books and makeup bags in a Longchamp, Prada or even in their mother's Birkin (yes, i've seen it with my own eyes!!! )...  
...But it's 2012 and the backpack is back! 
Chanel, Moschino and Alexander Wang have prepped us for the raising trend of the designer backpack. We have seen them at their A/W 2012-2013 catwalks and it seems like the fashionistas and celebrities are hurrying to get hold of their favorite ones. I love this trend and can't wait to find my perfect backpack :)

    I wouldn't mind having that Chanel backpack. But other than that, I'm not sure I want to feel like a little school girl again. I also feel like someone could just snatch my bag away from me since it's in the back. It's cool to see them being in style again, though...I remember when I was in middle school, really small backpacks were in style.

    I can't say I love this leather backpack/handbag trend, I prefer a clearer delimitation of the two: either a leather bag or a nice old canvas backpack like the ones in the LV menswear show - I loved those ones!

    your posts are always so close to my taste, and I love this!
    my favorite bag style is backpacks, even when they are not so "in",

    I still have my nylon Prada backpack from the mid 90s but these days I would love a Chanel :)

    Ahhhh how funny a trend to come back in - as they say, a trend comes around every 10? 20 years? So I suppose it was about time. Looking at these pics though they are actually quite cute!
